Respected City based International Banking Group is looking for a talented Liquidity Risk Analyst to join its European Risk Management department which is responsible for Head Office and local reporting, monitoring the London branch’s and Europe Treasury Department’s adherence to established limits and the provision of general market commentaries, and market-to-market performance movements.
Key responsibilities will include producing and maintaining liquidity risk monitoring reports and stress-testing - including assisting with the stress-testing assumption review; liaising with H/O and EMEA offices in respect of regional liquidity risk issues and participating in the risk intraday monitoring and preliminary Treasury Risk Summary Reporting tasks.
The successful candidate will be an analytical self-starter, with 1-3 years experience in Liquidity Risk Monitoring, reporting and stress-testing gained in the banking sector. He or she is likely to be degree educated with a professional financial qualification and have good knowledge of financial products including interest rates, FX and derivatives. Advanced IT skills, including Excel and VBA understanding, and SQL/Access are required.
