Our client being a global corporate bank based in London is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant. The London Finance Department is responsible for providing financial reports for London, Milan and Dubai offices of the business.
The ideal candidate will be highly numerical and analytical and will be responsible for providing monthly and quarterly financial and regulatory reports. Will be responsible for Milan’s and Dubai’s branch reporting entailing month end accruals, prepayments and reconciliations. Reviewing and approving expenses using the in-house Expense Processing System. Financial reporting including ensuring the integrity of the general ledger and compliance. Preparing reports for local management detailing the branches performance. Head office reporting on a quarterly basis for consolidation purposes and the preparation of the annual budget and monitoring variances for the Dubai branch. Preparation of information for the annual Dubai FSA audit, and liaison with the external auditors
Will have strong accounting skills and good Excel skills with V-Lookup being essential
ACCA/ CIMA part qualification is desirable. Experience of utilising the system Sun Accounts is desirable.
