City-based Asset Manager is looking for a talented Sales Executive to build and develop relationships with Wealth Manager/IFA firms, through high levels of telephone sales activity and lead generation, as well as retain strong relationships with existing clients, to support retention and growth of existing accounts.
The successful candidate will get to own a defined list of clients and build his or her own franchise within the Team. The role will require working to a sales process to develop prospects, generating leads for the Regional BDM using Fund MI to identify opportunities and being able to demonstrate and report on the success of call campaigns.
The role will suit candidates with 2-5 years’ experience of telephone sales within an asset management or other financial services environment, or from a sales support background, who have a strong work ethic and who are target-driven. Excellent verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills are paramount. The ideal candidate will be IMC-qualified, or working towards completion and have a good understanding of IFA/Wealth Management firm business models. An understanding of OEIC and UCITS products is desirable.
