A City based Banking Group wish to recruit an individual to carry out operation of the administration, analysis and reporting on the utilisation of the expenses budgets approved by Head Office as well as the daily administration of the Expenses payments.

Working with the Manager and forming an integral part of their Payments team, the person appointed will record, administer process and settle all expenses (including the funding for the Barclays Bank account, the preparation and authorisation of BACS payment on the Internet Banking System, cheque payments, the preparation of bank transfers and prompt clearance of outstanding items on the reconciliation report), process claims from staff relating to business trips, entertainment and other expenses in accordance with payments limits set by Head Office, capture and verify general ledger accounting entries in the QuickBooks and ATLAS accounting system, liaise with other relevant departments regarding expenses accounting entries, expense applications and expense policies and assist in the preparation of budget application, general financial summaries and analyses.

Applicants should demonstrate proven expense management and accounts payable experience gained specifically in the banking or financial sector. Experience in QuickBooks accounting software is advantageous.
