Leading global provider of financial administration solutions seeks a talented Trust Officer, who within a team, will be in charge of dealing with and overseeing the administration of a variety of trust arrangements, in particular escrow appointments, unauthorised collective investment schemes, employee benefit trusts and other corporate trusts dealt with by the Company.
Key responsibilities will include co-ordinating and carrying out the set-up of new transactions in liaison with the Manager (including negotiating and agreeing terms on which the Company will act); Carrying out all client due diligence process in accordance with the relevant regulatory and legislative requirements and considering clients’ proposals by interpretation and application of trust deeds/contractual arrangements’ provisions and liaising and maintaining a close working relationship with clients, law firms, investments banks and other industry professionals. The role also requires ensuring that the team’s day to day administration is carried out within required legal/contractual/regulatory frameworks; the follow-up on annual reviews, compliance matters, billing and other internal controls to ensure they are conducted and observed.
The successful candidate should ideally have Trust, Compliance or Legal experience, Escrows knowledge and the STEP qualification. Essential are excellent interpersonal skills (written & verbal) with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels, as well as the ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, good understanding of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to multi-task, remain well-organised and be able to meet the deadlines in a fast paced environment.
