City based Investment Bank is looking to recruit an individual on a 6-12 month maternity cover contract to assist the Head of their Risk Management Department in the management of all risk categories.
The person appointed will act as the 2nd Line of Defence responsible for providing risk oversight for branch-wide risk management activities delivered through the Branch’s Risk Appetite Framework (RAF) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF). The job holder will provide risk oversight in accordance to the Branch’s RAF and RMF, strategies, approaches and support risk governance structures to manage risks effectively.
This is an officer role with specific additional responsibilities for managing risks across all risk categories (except for conduct risk matters) as well as for the enterprise risk management under the supervision of the Head of Department who leads risk management operations within the Branch.
Applicants should ideally be educated to degree status but offer at least 2-3 years experience in risk management gained in the banking sector.
