A critical role has become available within a highly-regarded global banking group, to ensure that all operational and Financial Crime Compliance and Regulatory Compliance risks are identified and controls are implemented across its Strategic Insurance Partnerships internationally. The bank is looking for a business degree educated individual, with a strong financial analysis background, and demonstrable experience of implementing control frameworks within complex matrixed environments.
The successful candidate will be able to identify the risks associated with product distribution both through internal channels, and through third-party distributors, and design and implement appropriate risk and compliance standards. Key responsibilities will include setting the strategic direction for FCC and RC standards globally; establishing and embedding consistent operational analysis and reporting across Partnerships globally; developing and implementing global performance standards and ensuring Senior Management have oversight of all relevant FCC and RC risks.
Due to the exciting changes the organisation is undertaking and it’s continued progress in being globally led and connected, the role will suit candidates with outstanding communication, influencing and collaboration skills. The role requires a good knowledge of insurance products, including an understanding of life and non-life products and features. Candidates must have experience of working in complex financial services organisations and a track record of operational excellence and change execution. All this will be supported by the ability to ensure appropriate governance standards and management reporting controls are maintained.
