Leading Global Asset Manager seeks a database administration specialist, with a detailed understanding of Consultant Databases e.g. eVestment, Mercer GIMD/MPA, CAMRA and Cambridge Associates, to support the oversight and analysis of MI for the RFP function. This is turn will support the group’s sale of investment services globally.
You will need solid database administration experience at an asset management company or consultancy, combined with a good understanding of consultant and client requirements with regard to databases and investments, with the ability to manage content based on this. You will be responsible for maintaining both quantitative and qualitative information, produce high quality and timely data analysis as required, and be able to act as a trusted partner providing support to the Global Consultant relations and RFP teams.
The successful candidate is likely to be graduate-calibre and have a good understanding of GIPS. Excellent MS Office skills are needed, especially Excel, including complex spreadsheet development and reporting using macros and/or tools such as VBA. The IMC is preferable but not essential.
The role will suit someone with strong communication skills, and excellent written and spoken English. The ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment, and with remote colleagues is also key. This is a critical role, which requires a commitment to high quality work under both time and stakeholder pressures.
