Global investment house seeks an experienced Events Manager to work on a fixed term contract basis - planning, coordinating and delivering a range of client and industry experiences. This will include involvement in conferences, exhibitions and roadshows and the successful candidate must be an engaging individual with previous experience of Events Management gained from the financial services sector.
Applicants will demonstrate significant experience in end-to-end events management, strong verbal and written communication skills, a calm and organised approach and the proven ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment. A pro-active, “can do” attitude is essential and this will be complemented by strong multi-tasking skills.
A good knowledge of venues across the EMEA region is essential, together with experience of supplier management and the proven ability to navigate a complex international firm, building and maintaining effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
The successful candidate will be expected to attend some events and as such an element of travel is to be expected. Responsibilities are varied and will include but are not limited to: budgetary management, providing administrative and logistics support, event planning and post-event reporting. A high level of systems literacy is essential and musty include excellent knowledge of MS Office and ideally Cvent.
