Respected City based International Banking Group wish to recruit a new member of staff for its Finance and Reporting team.
The main purpose of the role will be to maintain the integrity, accuracy and completeness of the financial accounting in accordance with Head Office accounting policy for London and several other Branches. This will involve meeting Head Office reporting requirements, regulatory reporting requirements and providing local management accounting information to various Branches’ as well as ensuring the integrity of the general ledger, daily reconciliations and some project work.
Applicants for this opportunity have to be part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA individuals (either individuals at early stages in their studies or someone with more experience who has stopped their studies) but certainly demonstrating financial accounting experience (to include accruals, prepayments, debits and credits etc) gained in the banking sector along with proven Excel skills and a good understanding of financial accounting systems (Sun Accounts desirable).
