The ideal individual will demonstrate the ability to lead, mentor and motivate a small team of high calibre individuals within a highly analytical/quasi-academic environment. Previous experience of providing analysis and problem solving in a changing, deadline driven environment is essential. This will be complemented by superior presentation and verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational skills and the proven ability to work independently and take the initiative on projects is pre-requisite to the success of this extremely high profile role.
Key purpose of the role will be to lead on the provision of economic, risk and regulatory analysis relating to the UK’s withdrawal from the EU. Specifically this will involve the assessment of a range of global regulatory frameworks and initiatives and the analysis of specific areas of the financial services sector (predominantly Central Securities Depositories and Central Counterparties).
