Highly regarded International Bank is seeking a PQ ACCA or PQ CIMA individual to actively assist in a broad financial analysis, reporting and management accounting function. Responsibilities will include the production of monthly budget control reports for budget holders, preparation of month-end accruals, prepayments and reconciliations, review and approval of expenses using in-house system, analysis of expense trends and providing commentary on comparison against budget, forecast and prior periods and assisting in the preparation of the annual expense budget and monthly expense forecast for the London branch. Aside from the requisite professional studies and part qualification, applicants will have to demonstrate at least 1 – 3 years hands on experience of management accounts (to include exposure to annual budgeting, consolidation and forecasting) specifically gained in a Banking or Financial
Services Head Office function. Strong Excel skills and the proven ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders are essential. Experience of Cognos TM1 would be highly attractive but is in no way essential.
