The successful candidate will possess excellent knowledge of the trade finance arena and a solid track record in developing business across the Nordic region (ex-Sweden). Applicants will have an existing client base and strong network of contacts across the region and will be comfortable working independently and carving out their own niche in this brand new role.
The role itself is both challenging and rewarding. It will appeal to an entrepreneurial individual with significant Trade Finance origination experience and the desire to build on this in a new environment. Responsibilities mainly cover the targeting, development and writing of new business using strategic sales initiatives and continuing to build out on an existing network of client contacts across the Nordic region. The role will also involve the analysis and recommendation of pricing structures, client and sector analysis in order to mitigate risk and participating at trade events and in other PR initiatives as appropriate.
Applicants will be dynamic self-starters with a proven track record of trade finance sales/origination within the Nordic region. Superior communication, negotiation and influencing skills are essential and preferred experience will ideally be from a major global bank. A commercial approach and appetite for change are essential.
