A sound background in banking sector credit research and is pre-requisite and may be gained from an asset management, banking, or ratings agency environment.
Remit will involve undertaking credit research and formulating opinion on bank counterparties, together with contributing to the approval process and undertaking ongoing counterparty monitoring. This will involve analysing each firm and the wider sector in which they operate, to include country, sector, political, economic and market analysis. An understanding of the asset management process will be an advantage.
